FILTHY NASTY ROBBING STAFF - MONEY STOLEN FROM ROOM
Just back from 11 days at the Palm Beach Hotel. Great at first, clean, friendly staff, nice pool etc but then..... Arrived on the Saturday then on the Monday, to my utter dismay the building work from the surrounding sites started from 8am to 8pm! Remarked on this to the reception staff who commented that my tour agent should have informed me of the building work when I booked the holiday (they didn't, thanks Expedia!) Could things get worse? yeap they could and they did! The music from the restaurant which initially was played inside was moved to outside so that it could be heard half way down the hill! was played from 8pm to 12midnight and I thought down-graded the hotel considerably! ....... Then money was stolen from my room and when I enventually got to speak to the manager about it the night before I was to return home, he was less than sympathetic towards me! and frankly needed some customer relations training! I never retrieved my money and I come back to england with a bitter taste in my mouth!......I won't be going abck to the Palm Beach Hotel!!........

My 70 year old Mum, myself and my daughters (19 and 11) stayed here for a week, we just got back home yesterday.
Overall our stay was good, but there were some bad points and a few things that we think need changing. 1) The rooms are pretty cramped and the decor is old fashioned (unless you like the 80's) 2) No water machine in rooms or hallway. 3) ''ALL INCLUSIVE'' should mean all inclusive and not ''SOME OF THE TIME INCLUSIVE''.
Had one bad experience at the hotel, which really p***ed me off. We were all inclusive which I took to mean everything was included during the holiday and I wouldn't have to pay for anything. Right? Wrong. On the second night, we went to bed early and my kids woke thirsty, so I got togged up and went down to the bar to get them some bottled water, it was 11.25pm and I was told by the bar staff, that I had to pay for water after 11pm. I told her it was for my children and I had no euro's, and I had no idea all inclusive meant I had to pay for water after 11pm, so please could I have some water for my kids? ''No you have to pay'', was the reply again. Needless to say, I was pretty annoyed, so rang the reception and was told once again ''You pay after 11pm''. .......... So, the bar is open until midnight, but all inclusive guests have to pay for all drinks, even water, between 11pm and midnight, hardly all inclusive is it?
And hotel staff who refuse a bottle of water for a thirsty child, well, that's pathetic and petty..... anyway, rant over....
The good points. Apart from the 2 members of staff who refused water to my kids, the staff were efficient, helpful and friendly. The hotel is clean. Other guests were well behaved, even the stag parties were respectful and lots of Spanish use this hotel, which is always a good sign. The food was a good mixture of Spanish and English dishes, lots of choice and well cooked and good quality. Both swimming pools were clean and well kept. Oh, tv in the room, but only good if you've got a liking for True Movies 1 and CNN, they were the only English speaking channels available, would be nice to have more English channels, but then I suppose we're not on holiday to watch tv !
Anyway, good hotel, we would come back, but please, make ''all inclusive'' mean ''all inclusive'' !!!!

HOW IS THIS A FOUR STAR HOTEL?!!!!!”

WARNING!!!!!! this hotel is more like a 3 star hotel infact some 3 star hotels ive stayed in was better then this dump the decor is set in the 80's the lifts are so small you only fit 2 people in it. the rooms need painting the telly is from the war with 2 english channels. when you book dont think your getting the rooms it shows you in the brochure your getting a average 3 star room so what the hell are we paying extra for to stay at a four star hotel?
The food is repetitive and gets worse every day they seem to put different types of food out randomly like stew you expect dumplings here you get sprouts!! at breakfast you expected mushrooms in your english breakfast but no you get mushrooms at dinner to go with your salad!!! you cant take your food out of the restaurant and the biggest joke is all inclusive it starts at 8am until 11pm and after that you have to pay for your drinks!!!! what a rip off and to top it off the entertainment starts at 10.45 so you have 15mins to squeeze your drinks in the entertainment is the worse piece of crap i have ever seen and this forced us to go into the town and watch other acts so we lost out on all inclusive really. good points the pool area is large with plenty of beds the view off the balcony is amazing you get mundomar zoo and aqualandia half price. if you plan on coming to benidorm try flamingo oasis or hotel don pablo as theese look amazing and are central. try benidorm palace it is amazing and best money spent and also see sticky vicky and sean foster conaly at the red lion and jokers bar.

“The worst hotel i've ever spent time in...checked out after only two hours”

Arrived at this supposedly 4 star hotel on 29th May with my two children and could not believe my eyes. There is no way this is a four star hotel, I wouldnt even class it as a two star, also the 'slight' hill it is on ha ha the hill is so steep my ears popped on the way up to it in the taxi. When I walked in the smell of filth and stale beer met us and the state of the reception area was atrocious.
The clientele appearered to consist of lager louts shouting and yelling, and the pool area which was at the front of the hotel was over run by them. The reception staff were rude and unhelpful. I had booked a family room which was meant to have two double beds in it, upon arriving at the room, after walking down corridors which were so narrow only one person at a time could walk, the room was like a prison cell with two small single beds in it with mattresses that felt like concrete.
My children were frightened to death to leave the room and I went downstairs to reception and checked out, and while doing this I witnessed a man with his legs threw over one of the filthy chairs in reception picking his toe nails and throwing them on the floor....disgusting. I also spoke to two elderly couples who said they had just spent the worst week of their lives at this hotel and couldnt wait to get home. I then checked into a proper four star hotel, The Flamingo Oasis, which was like walking into heaven compared to this hell hole, and the staff at the Flamingo were so helpful and couldnt do enough for us.
Do NOT stay at this hotel it is disgusting.

We were in the appartments along side the palm beach hotel which were owned by palm beach and we were full board in the palm beach, i will start with the negatives, the hotel was very tired looking, it had obviously been stunning when opened, but in need of some repair, the pool area was not maintained during the day at all other than a life guard, by the end of the day there was cups everywhere and mess, and for a 4 star hotel i found this quite strange, the hotel appartments were clean and spacious but only hot water for one shower at a time if you were lucky, and there was 6 of us so bit of a drama, washing machine was a bonus, but the 30th floor when we asked for a low floor rather scary.
the meals in the hotel were good alot of variety for breakfast, chcken nuggets and chips for the kids for breakfast, but none at lunch and dinner, the lunch and dinner menus were of a good variety and i am quite picky but could always find something, kids could be quite hard to find something for them. The walk up to the hotel is a killer no matter what anyone says, we walked it 3x a day for the first 3 days, until we gave up, but there is a free bus and is only 5 euros in a taxi up at night, so if you have spent all that money on a holiday what is 5 euros per night..
we bought the kids lilos for the pool etc to be told that they were not permitted in the pool
so be warned only buy rubber rings or you will be wasting ur money.
the entertainment was not up to much, no kids clubs during the day, and the evening entertainment never came on untill 10.45 when alot of kids are tired and cranky by then, but the kids had all their own friends and just played with them. no wifi ahh !!! the hotel all round was a good budget breakway for a week last minute, food was good with choice, good choice if only using for a base but quite out the way which did not bother us, friendly staff, could always get a sun bed.

That is no suprise! I had my Blackberry stolen at Hotel Palm Beach Hotel" the Staff told me lies, t6he Manager then lied aswell telling me it takes 2 days to clean a one bedroom apartment! I had the telephone slammed down on me and when I called back they would not pick up the phone!
THIS IS NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL it is a shit hole!!!!

“Stealing maids”

I have just returned from a weeks holiday here with my husband and 18 month old son. I would like to warn anyone thinking of staying here not to leave anything on display and I mean anything. If that is not possible then don't let the maids in your room alone.
I had items taken from my room on 2 ocassions, both after the maids had been in. On the first ocassion I didnt report anything as i could not prove it but the second time I saw the stolen items on the maids trolley further down the corridor. When I asked her sbout them she stated she did not understand what I was saying.
I reported the theft to the reception staff who were completely unhelpful. At first I was told "No thats not possible" how was it not possible?? I saw the items on the trolly!! Then I spoke to the service manager who at the time seemed very helpful. This was on the Friday and I informed him I was leaving on the Sunday so he said he would speak to his manager. On Saturday I went to reception to chase and was told by the dismissive reception staff that the manager was not in until Sunday. I went back to reception on Sunday before we left and was told again the manager was not in. I was left with no money, as his was stolen, to buy dinner for my 18 month old son at the airport.
The staff were unhelpful, very rude and lie to you.
The hotel is very noisy with lots of large groups of young people so young children here is not a good idea.
I would not recommend staying here at all!!!

This is no suprise!!!! The Hotel Staff will lie to you! The Manager will claim that from the moment you arrived you where rude! And that nobody has stolen your possessions!
PLEASE CONTACT US IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCED THEFT AT THIS HOTEL AS WE WANT TO COMPILE A LIST OF COMPLAINTS AND SUPPLY THE COMPLAINTS TO THE GUARDIA CIVIL. WE NEED EVIDENCE! WHY NOT SET UP YOUR CAMCORDER AND RECORD THE MAIDS STEALING???

“DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! PLEASE!!!”

hi I am just home from this hotel – I stayed with my family (boyfriend 25, mother 52, sister 16) for 1 week 19th-16th july 2011. this was my 5th time in benidorm and this is the worst hotel ive ever stayed in. first of all it is not a hill to this hotel – it is a mountain!!! im only 24 and I struggled! there is 299 rooms and enough elevators to fit 12 people (3x4 people)most of the time we took the stairs because of the queues for the lifts!! they did not cater at all for any other nationality but Spanish – we could not take part in any of the activities because it was all in spanish. We went half board – and because we did not have the all inclusive armbands they did not give us ice at the pool bar!! we were not allowed a lilo in the pool – not allowed to play with our bat & ball in the pool. we got woke up in the middle of the night most nights because of groups of young Spanish kids phoning everyones rooms and banging doors and running away. our shower broke, we had to have someone come and look at the fridge – on 3 separate occasions we had to go back to reception because our room cards did not work. this happened in both rooms!! they told us it was because we put then near our mobile phones?!? we were not allowed to bring our own drinks to the table, we had to buy their drinks. I bought a bottle of wine and they said they would hold it for the next night. they did not hold it over for m,e and then accused me of drinking it!! this is definitely not a 4* - more like a 2*.
the only good thing is that it was clean…and the food was nice, although the Spanish are so ignorant that they cut in front of everyone else while queuing for food!!
I cannot stress enough how bad this hill is!!! there are sooo many more hotels closer to the centre that are a 4* and are cheaper!! get the most for your money and do not stay here!!!

“Never Again”

Ok, this hotel is clean, food is nice and the location isn't too bad for the beach and town, however this is where it ends.
There was a large group of us and when we checked in the staff were extremly unfriendly. I had read previous reiews about this, but it was booked by another person and i don't usually need to liaise with receoptionist so didn't forsee any problems.
On the second day i needed to get boarding passes printed. I spoke to the recieptionist (after waiting at the desk whilst she had her back to me for 20 minutes) who advised i could use the computer centre, which i did and emailed them to be printed. Unfortunately this didn't work and i couldn't communicate with her properly as her english wasn't great.
On the second day, we requested that the room wasn't cleaned by using the door attachment provided in the room. The room was paritally cleaned and as a result my purse was missing. The manager on call, response was anyone could have removed the tab from the door. The cleaners had left a note to say the room was messy and they only cleaned the bathroom even though we requested they didn't. They apparently couldn't speak to the cleaner, but they could her manager who confirmed the note the cleaner had written. They have camera's but wouldn't check them to see who had removed the 'do not disturb' sign from the door. I had cards, cash in my purse. I asked if i could use their phones to cancel cards, i was told to go to the pay phone. I explained that i would need to give securtity info and not happy to do that in public. She told me to us my mobile. I said no, she then suggested i use the room phone, however i wanted them to pay for the calls as a good will gesture. They refused initially but after much heated discussion they agreed. Upon, going back to my room the room phone had been disconected and i couldn't get an outside line.
After this i didn't go back to reception as i was extrremly frustrated with the staff. On speaking to other guests at the hotel and reading recent review there seems to be a spate of items going missing rooms. So if you do stay at this hotel, make sure you have a security box, if its not in a security box, they do not accept any responsiblity.
In addition to the above their recepionists when dealing with british people, would ignore you if you were standing at the desk and they were doing something- irrespectful of how menial. Plus when they do acknowlede you, they will stop serving you to deal with another guest (spanish usually).
The bar staff were friendly, however it does take a while to get a drink, as it appears their friends use the hotel to chill out in, which means they get served before staying guests, in addition those that look spanish will get served first.
If your certain you won;t need reception and you get a security box, are british and reasonably healthy this hotel would be ok for you.
Oh one last point, the Air Con, didn't work.
I would not recomend this to anyone, i am annoyed at their refusal to help me, but i wonder, had something serious happened that i wouldn't be able to get the help i needed from the hotel which is concerning. I will go to benidorm again but not to this hotel

Remarked on this to the reception staff who commented that my tour agent should have informed me of the building work when I booked the holiday (they didn't, thanks Expedia!) Could things get worse? yeap they could and they did! The music from the restaurant which initially was played inside was moved to outside so that it could be heard half way down the hill! was played from 8pm to 12midnight and I thought down-graded the hotel considerably! ....... Then money was stolen from my room and when I enventually got to speak to the manager about it the night before I was to return home, he was less than sympathetic towards me! and frankly needed some customer relations training! I never retrieved my money and I come back to england with a bitter taste in my mouth!......I won't be going abck to the Palm Beach Hotel!!........

Just back from a weeks holiday at the Palm Beach Hotel. Nice Hotel, clean, staff pleasant, entertainment every night (might not be your cup of tea) but the major drawback is the building work. They are building new hotels at the back and to the left of the hotel. From 8am in the morning until 8pm in the evening there is a constant drone of diggers and lorries running up and down the hill. If you are unfortunate enough to be walking on the pavement when these lorries pass you, you get covered in dust. Although the hotel staff clean the tables and chairs on the terrace the have a constant film of dust on them. Apart from that and the walk up the hill the hotel itself is fine! My advice would be to stay away for a while.

we paid for what we thought was 4 star all inclusive hotel if this was an example of benidorms best then the country is in desperate trouble. decor wise probably 2/3 star, food although plenty of it was practicaly the same day in day out srouts and goolash were regulars on the menu if you missed them at lunch you could be sure that they were on for the evening meal. rooms cleaned daily. the beach was not far from hotel,the first day we got free bus tickets from the reception as we thought it was a fair walk from other reviews that we had read but the day after we walked too n from the hotel,there was a slight incline towards the hotel but not too bad im a 51 year old lady that does not excersise am a little overweight but i managed the walk very well.at the weekend we spent a lot of time in the town and at the beach as come friday the stag and hen's started to arrive this lowered the ratings of the hotel for me even more as there was a lot of shouting and swearing one group of stags once dropped there shorts exposing themselves , and the hens flashing there boobs to the stags this behaviour realy wasn't acceptable as there were children in the hotel but it didn't seem to bother them, there was a lot of spanish and french families staying in the hotel they were all very pleasant. benidorm is supposed to be the english version of blackpool and in that respect it certainly lived up to it's name. if your staying at this hotel i suggest you take plenty money to go out into the town unless your on a stag or hen do then you will be just fine.
Room Tip: no quiet rooms as hotel has 10 floors high and the noise from the terrace and pool was realy loud you could even hear parts of converations and i was on the 9th floor

My 70 year old Mum, myself and my daughters (19 and 11) stayed here for a week, we just got back home yesterday.
Overall our stay was good, but there were some bad points and a few things that we think need changing. 1) The rooms are pretty cramped and the decor is old fashioned (unless you like the 80's) 2) No water machine in rooms or hallway. 3) ''ALL INCLUSIVE'' should mean all inclusive and not ''SOME OF THE TIME INCLUSIVE''.
Had one bad experience at the hotel, which really p***ed me off. We were all inclusive which I took to mean everything was included during the holiday and I wouldn't have to pay for anything. Right? Wrong. On the second night, we went to bed early and my kids woke thirsty, so I got togged up and went down to the bar to get them some bottled water, it was 11.25pm and I was told by the bar staff, that I had to pay for water after 11pm. I told her it was for my children and I had no euro's, and I had no idea all inclusive meant I had to pay for water after 11pm, so please could I have some water for my kids? ''No you have to pay'', was the reply again. Needless to say, I was pretty annoyed, so rang the reception and was told once again ''You pay after 11pm''. .......... So, the bar is open until midnight, but all inclusive guests have to pay for all drinks, even water, between 11pm and midnight, hardly all inclusive is it?
And hotel staff who refuse a bottle of water for a thirsty child, well, that's pathetic and petty..... anyway, rant over....
The good points. Apart from the 2 members of staff who refused water to my kids, the staff were efficient, helpful and friendly. The hotel is clean. Other guests were well behaved, even the stag parties were respectful and lots of Spanish use this hotel, which is always a good sign. The food was a good mixture of Spanish and English dishes, lots of choice and well cooked and good quality. Both swimming pools were clean and well kept. Oh, tv in the room, but only good if you've got a liking for True Movies 1 and CNN, they were the only English speaking channels available, would be nice to have more English channels, but then I suppose we're not on holiday to watch tv !
Anyway, good hotel, we would come back, but please, make ''all inclusive'' mean ''all inclusive'' !!!!
Room Tip: If you want a pool view,book above 2nd floor.

WARNING!!!!!! this hotel is more like a 3 star hotel infact some 3 star hotels ive stayed in was better then this dump the decor is set in the 80's the lifts are so small you only fit 2 people in it. the rooms need painting the telly is from the war with 2 english channels. when you book dont think your getting the rooms it shows you in the brochure your getting a average 3 star room so what the hell are we paying extra for to stay at a four star hotel?
The food is repetitive and gets worse every day they seem to put different types of food out randomly like stew you expect dumplings here you get sprouts!! at breakfast you expected mushrooms in your english breakfast but no you get mushrooms at dinner to go with your salad!!! you cant take your food out of the restaurant and the biggest joke is all inclusive it starts at 8am until 11pm and after that you have to pay for your drinks!!!! what a rip off and to top it off the entertainment starts at 10.45 so you have 15mins to squeeze your drinks in the entertainment is the worse piece of crap i have ever seen and this forced us to go into the town and watch other acts so we lost out on all inclusive really. good points the pool area is large with plenty of beds the view off the balcony is amazing you get mundomar zoo and aqualandia half price. if you plan on coming to benidorm try flamingo oasis or hotel don pablo as theese look amazing and are central. try benidorm palace it is amazing and best money spent and also see sticky vicky and sean foster conaly at the red lion and jokers bar.

“The worst hotel i've ever spent time in...checked out after only two hours”

Arrived at this supposedly 4 star hotel on 29th May with my two children and could not believe my eyes. There is no way this is a four star hotel, I wouldnt even class it as a two star, also the 'slight' hill it is on ha ha the hill is so steep my ears popped on the way up to it in the taxi. When I walked in the smell of filth and stale beer met us and the state of the reception area was atrocious.
The clientele appearered to consist of lager louts shouting and yelling, and the pool area which was at the front of the hotel was over run by them. The reception staff were rude and unhelpful. I had booked a family room which was meant to have two double beds in it, upon arriving at the room, after walking down corridors which were so narrow only one person at a time could walk, the room was like a prison cell with two small single beds in it with mattresses that felt like concrete.
My children were frightened to death to leave the room and I went downstairs to reception and checked out, and while doing this I witnessed a man with his legs threw over one of the filthy chairs in reception picking his toe nails and throwing them on the floor....disgusting. I also spoke to two elderly couples who said they had just spent the worst week of their lives at this hotel and couldnt wait to get home. I then checked into a proper four star hotel, The Flamingo Oasis, which was like walking into heaven compared to this hell hole, and the staff at the Flamingo were so helpful and couldnt do enough for us.
Do NOT stay at this hotel it is disgusting.

We were in the appartments along side the palm beach hotel which were owned by palm beach and we were full board in the palm beach, i will start with the negatives, the hotel was very tired looking, it had obviously been stunning when opened, but in need of some repair, the pool area was not maintained during the day at all other than a life guard, by the end of the day there was cups everywhere and mess, and for a 4 star hotel i found this quite strange, the hotel appartments were clean and spacious but only hot water for one shower at a time if you were lucky, and there was 6 of us so bit of a drama, washing machine was a bonus, but the 30th floor when we asked for a low floor rather scary.
the meals in the hotel were good alot of variety for breakfast, chcken nuggets and chips for the kids for breakfast, but none at lunch and dinner, the lunch and dinner menus were of a good variety and i am quite picky but could always find something, kids could be quite hard to find something for them. The walk up to the hotel is a killer no matter what anyone says, we walked it 3x a day for the first 3 days, until we gave up, but there is a free bus and is only 5 euros in a taxi up at night, so if you have spent all that money on a holiday what is 5 euros per night..
we bought the kids lilos for the pool etc to be told that they were not permitted in the pool
so be warned only buy rubber rings or you will be wasting ur money.
the entertainment was not up to much, no kids clubs during the day, and the evening entertainment never came on untill 10.45 when alot of kids are tired and cranky by then, but the kids had all their own friends and just played with them. no wifi ahh !!! the hotel all round was a good budget breakway for a week last minute, food was good with choice, good choice if only using for a base but quite out the way which did not bother us, friendly staff, could always get a sun bed.

That is no suprise! I had my Blackberry stolen at Hotel Palm Beach Hotel" the Staff told me lies, t6he Manager then lied aswell telling me it takes 2 days to clean a one bedroom apartment! I had the telephone slammed down on me and when I called back they would not pick up the phone!

“Stealing maids”

I have just returned from a weeks holiday here with my husband and 18 month old son. I would like to warn anyone thinking of staying here not to leave anything on display and I mean anything. If that is not possible then don't let the maids in your room alone.
I had items taken from my room on 2 ocassions, both after the maids had been in. On the first ocassion I didnt report anything as i could not prove it but the second time I saw the stolen items on the maids trolley further down the corridor. When I asked her sbout them she stated she did not understand what I was saying.
I reported the theft to the reception staff who were completely unhelpful. At first I was told "No thats not possible" how was it not possible?? I saw the items on the trolly!! Then I spoke to the service manager who at the time seemed very helpful. This was on the Friday and I informed him I was leaving on the Sunday so he said he would speak to his manager. On Saturday I went to reception to chase and was told by the dismissive reception staff that the manager was not in until Sunday. I went back to reception on Sunday before we left and was told again the manager was not in. I was left with no money, as his was stolen, to buy dinner for my 18 month old son at the airport.
The staff were unhelpful, very rude and lie to you.
The hotel is very noisy with lots of large groups of young people so young children here is not a good idea.
I would not recommend staying here at all!!!

This is no suprise!!!! The Hotel Staff will lie to you! The Manager will claim that from the moment you arrived you where rude! And that nobody has stolen your possessions!
PLEASE CONTACT US IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCED THEFT AT THIS HOTEL AS WE WANT TO COMPILE A LIST OF COMPLAINTS AND SUPPLY THE COMPLAINTS TO THE GUARDIA CIVIL. WE NEED EVIDENCE! WHY NOT SET UP YOUR CAMCORDER AND RECORD THE MAIDS STEALING???

“DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! PLEASE!!!”

hi I am just home from this hotel – I stayed with my family (boyfriend 25, mother 52, sister 16) for 1 week 19th-16th july 2011. this was my 5th time in benidorm and this is the worst hotel ive ever stayed in. first of all it is not a hill to this hotel – it is a mountain!!! im only 24 and I struggled! there is 299 rooms and enough elevators to fit 12 people (3x4 people)most of the time we took the stairs because of the queues for the lifts!! they did not cater at all for any other nationality but Spanish – we could not take part in any of the activities because it was all in spanish. We went half board – and because we did not have the all inclusive armbands they did not give us ice at the pool bar!! we were not allowed a lilo in the pool – not allowed to play with our bat & ball in the pool. we got woke up in the middle of the night most nights because of groups of young Spanish kids phoning everyones rooms and banging doors and running away. our shower broke, we had to have someone come and look at the fridge – on 3 separate occasions we had to go back to reception because our room cards did not work. this happened in both rooms!! they told us it was because we put then near our mobile phones?!? we were not allowed to bring our own drinks to the table, we had to buy their drinks. I bought a bottle of wine and they said they would hold it for the next night. they did not hold it over for m,e and then accused me of drinking it!! this is definitely not a 4* - more like a 2*.
the only good thing is that it was clean…and the food was nice, although the Spanish are so ignorant that they cut in front of everyone else while queuing for food!!
I cannot stress enough how bad this hill is!!! there are sooo many more hotels closer to the centre that are a 4* and are cheaper!! get the most for your money and do not stay here!!!

Ok, this hotel is clean, food is nice and the location isn't too bad for the beach and town, however this is where it ends.
There was a large group of us and when we checked in the staff were extremly unfriendly. I had read previous reiews about this, but it was booked by another person and i don't usually need to liaise with receoptionist so didn't forsee any problems.
On the second day i needed to get boarding passes printed. I spoke to the recieptionist (after waiting at the desk whilst she had her back to me for 20 minutes) who advised i could use the computer centre, which i did and emailed them to be printed. Unfortunately this didn't work and i couldn't communicate with her properly as her english wasn't great.
On the second day, we requested that the room wasn't cleaned by using the door attachment provided in the room. The room was paritally cleaned and as a result my purse was missing. The manager on call, response was anyone could have removed the tab from the door. The cleaners had left a note to say the room was messy and they only cleaned the bathroom even though we requested they didn't. They apparently couldn't speak to the cleaner, but they could her manager who confirmed the note the cleaner had written. They have camera's but wouldn't check them to see who had removed the 'do not disturb' sign from the door. I had cards, cash in my purse. I asked if i could use their phones to cancel cards, i was told to go to the pay phone. I explained that i would need to give securtity info and not happy to do that in public. She told me to us my mobile. I said no, she then suggested i use the room phone, however i wanted them to pay for the calls as a good will gesture. They refused initially but after much heated discussion they agreed. Upon, going back to my room the room phone had been disconected and i couldn't get an outside line.
After this i didn't go back to reception as i was extrremly frustrated with the staff. On speaking to other guests at the hotel and reading recent review there seems to be a spate of items going missing rooms. So if you do stay at this hotel, make sure you have a security box, if its not in a security box, they do not accept any responsiblity.
In addition to the above their recepionists when dealing with british people, would ignore you if you were standing at the desk and they were doing something- irrespectful of how menial. Plus when they do acknowlede you, they will stop serving you to deal with another guest (spanish usually).
The bar staff were friendly, however it does take a while to get a drink, as it appears their friends use the hotel to chill out in, which means they get served before staying guests, in addition those that look spanish will get served first.
If your certain you won;t need reception and you get a security box, are british and reasonably healthy this hotel would be ok for you.
Oh one last point, the Air Con, didn't work.
I would not recomend this to anyone, i am annoyed at their refusal to help me, but i wonder, had something serious happened that i wouldn't be able to get the help i needed from the hotel which is concerning. I will go to benidorm again but not to this hotel

The Management need to do something about the THEFT from guests & STOP treating "all inclusive" guests like shit....
No7 Agency will be updating these pages and monitoring "ALL" new complaints and adding them to this page, we will be letting British tourists know what to expect and will be making some video footage of how guests are treated. WE will pay €100 for video footage that we can use that shows staff being rude especially at the all inclusive bar...

"Tolo" on reception put the phone down on me and would not disclose his full name, he then would not answer the phone! I called back 6 times and they would not pick up the phone. Terrible service & they stole my Blackberry!!!!

Make sure you tell them when you where at the Hotel even better if you attache a copy of your bill or photos etc, the more people that complain will help to get this Hotel on the "RED ALERT" and save Families being the victims of crime at this Hotel.

After our conversation, we checked every thing, and the phone was not there. Well, the day of your check out you write (bellow), some body of reception, and call by radio, to check your apartment to know if every thing was ok. Right, in this first moment, we do not found anything about your phone (while you were in reception), and you do not remember you phone in this moment. We need two days to clean this apartment, because we got X time to do it, your apartment need more time, because need it. We looked (by myself) every where at the apartment, and was not there. Is possible, you lost during your back to home, and you think was in the apartment. Our staff does not get anything. I can understand your feelings, but we are not the responsible of it, because you said you forget there, but it is not there. It is the same example, if you say; we forget a pocket wallet with thousand pounds. What we have to do? Just give back thousand ponds, because anybody say this? I am so sorry Mr. Hardin, but your phone was not there. I understand you, but we can not do anything else more. You do all that you thing you have to do, but we too.
